Hotel Heide Park

We arrived by bus on August 18th, 2023, we were warmly greeted by the reception, received our key and went to the room and put our suitcases down. We noticed that the rooms were very hot, unfortunately they are not there The rooms don't have air conditioning, and they're also very noisy. We first looked at the hotel and we also noticed that the reception wasn't always manned. If you put your key in the compartment, everyone has access to it. After the long journey we used the poll to cool down. The hotel manager didn't like that and told us that it was quiet at 10 p.m. if we didn't comply, she would call the police, sorry, that was a no go, no proper greeting on her part. We were shocked at first. Furthermore, drinks were only available until 10 p.m., so you couldn't sit outside any longer and enjoy the warm summer nights in company. We used the balcony and terrace, which belong to the respective rooms, in the evenings, but always with the idea of not being so loud, we didn't want to have any further trouble with them. We then went 200 meters further to a guesthouse with an attached restaurant where we were allowed to sit until midnight and enjoy drinks and chat. The owners were happy that we were there and even sat down. A big thank you goes to Alkis the waiter, he always had a quick saying on his lips 😊 he should stay as he is, he has his heart in the right place, he came to work early on the day of departure to say goodbye to us, that's what he does not for everyone. Breakfast was plentiful and dinner was also okay. This hotel is not suitable for groups who want to sit outside together for a longer period of time. More likely for couples with children and pensioners. A tip for the hotel manager: Communicate sensibly with the guests or groups and not the way they did with us, then many misunderstandings wouldn't have occurred. It's a shame, otherwise it's a beautiful hotel with a dream view of the mountains.

I'm disappointed by what happened to us. When we arrived it immediately started with the statements: "Please only use the pool until 7 p.m. From 10 p.m. please be quiet otherwise I'll call the police. I don't think that's a good thing. We were very scared and not particularly enthusiastic. So after dinner we went about 200 meters further to a guesthouse and sat there and had fun. A boy who arrived with his parents was allowed to use the pool until about 10.45 p.m. without anything from the reception or the entire staff was said. Completely incomprehensible.
